The Cheese Artist Package (Available on Weekends) – $380 This package is excellent for all you beginning gourmet cooks and chefs, those wanting to preserve our food heritage and those looking to be self sufficient in these trying economic times. Cheese making combines art and science and will satisfy your creative, nutritional and spiritual needs. The package includes a 2 night stay at out 1850’s Farmhouse and hands-on immersion in the process of making cheese, from milking to packaging of the final product for sale in our Farm Store and Farmer’s Markets.

Family on the Run Planning an outing while on your farm stay? Select our 2 night “Family On-the-run Picnic Package”. We will have prepared a picnic lunch or dinner for your family to take with you as you see the sites. Perfect if you are staying with us as you participate in a local event or visit your student at one of our local colleges. We are close to DeSales University, Cedar Crest College, Lehigh University, Bethlehem Steel Stacks, Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom.

The Horse and Rider Package – $155 The Horse and Rider Package is perfect for the adult who has always wanted to experience one to one contact with the majestic horse. The 60 minute private lesson with our professional instructor, Kim, can help you overcome any apprehension or hesitation you have regarding horses. The lesson will include care and safe handling, putting on the saddle and bridle, and basic riding.

Farm Packages
Individuals or small families may obtain lodging here at the farm by staying one or two nights in our two guest bedrooms.
One night Farm Stay including full farm breakfast! Choose: Equine Room (Sleeps 2-3),Loom Room w/ Balcony (Sleeps 2-4)Rates for either room- each room set up this year with electric fireplace, allowing for each room to adjust temperature comfort: $95 per night for the first adult in room, $50 for second adult, $25 for child (ages 3-11)*, children under 3 stay for FREE!Master Bedroom with full balcony overlooking the farm. Horse Riding Lessons to be arranged with riding instructor prior to Farm stay visit – $70 per hour or $35 per half hour. Adults may “split” the hour block with another person if desired. During that time the instructor will review safe horse handling, putting on the saddle and bridle, and basic riding. Modifications for those with previous riding experience is available. Basic Bread Baking at Flint Hill Farm Educational Center Winter/Spring 2020
Adults are welcome to bring a glass of wine to enjoy with the evenings sampling of the farm’s cheeses and other breads baked as samples for the evenings recipe. Classes are limited to ten participants, since each person goes home with a loaf of bread for them to rise and bake in their own kitchen. Advanced registration and payment required. No refunds. However, if someone cannot make the class they can either reschedule or receive a store credit toward purchases in the Farm Store.
