Flint Hill Farm is a preserved farm located on a 28-acres in Lehigh County, PA.  The farm dates back to about 1850.  It was the home to farmer families Cicon and Hassick till we purchased the farm in 1997. As steward of the farm, we have collaborated with Flint Hill Farm Educational Center, Inc. to open the farm as an Educational Center to our community in the Greater Lehigh Valley and surrounding area. The working farm offers 6 acres of wooded paths, 20 acres of pastures for our sheep, goats, and cows and assorted gardens planted with herbs, flowers and vegetables. A Certified Raw milk dairy provides goat and cow milk for the Flint Hill Farm Educational Center’s sale of both pasteurize and raw milk and pasteurized added-value products of artisan cheese, fresh butter and yogurt. During certain seasons, the Draft horse teams of the Educational Center provide “horse power” to the everyday work of the farm. Family “farm stays” allow families to experience life “on the farm” together one day at a time. While here visiting “farmers” collect their own eggs for breakfast, help milk the cows and goats, assist with the feeding and handling of the horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and goats to their level of comfort. Get back in touch with the world of your parents or grandparents. Over night accommodations are available at the farm house or RV.
.Our farm store is open to the public daily selling pastured eggs, goat and cow milk artisan cheeses, pasturizeded yogurt, and fresh cream butter. We are a Certified Raw Milk Dairy through the PA Department of Agriculture and proudly display the PA Preferred labels on our food. Our products are also available at a number of local Farmers Markets from May thought November.  Restaurants can direct purchase wholesale. We work closely with many groups: the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Rodale Institute, Lehigh Valley Conservation District, PA Women in Agriculture, Heritage Conservancy, Buy Fresh Buy Local PA, Greater Lehigh Valley Food Alliance. The Educational Center is located on a Preserved Farm and supports the efforts of our community to be good stewards of our water, air and soil resources.
